Le moxôstome doré

I’ve been working on several posts for the moxostoma blog, but none seemed worthy of being the first. This old sucker is just the thing to break that barrier.

Redhorse prints finally available!

I have finally managed to align all the planets and get printing started. These are giclee prints on heavy matte paper. This is not a thin, glossy poster that a teenagers would tape inside a locker. If you have a wall, a hammer and a nail, you might even consider putting it in a frame and hanging it next to pictures of your kids and Cranky Aunt Ethel.

Identification of six species of redhorse, by Olaf NelsonNow available through Etsy.com, if you’re into that.

There are two sizes available: large (32″ x 24″: $50.00, including $5 for shipping) and medium (24″ x 18″: $45.00, including $5 for shipping priority mail in a tube). A discount if you order more than one (but I don’t know how much, since it depends on the actual shipping cost). Every order gets some free stickers, too.

(If you’re into fish posters, check out the tiger trout poster.)

Tiger Trout print

Tiger Trout poster by Olaf NelsonNow available through Etsy.com, if that’s the way you’d prefer to get it.

Tiger trout prints are available. Giclee prints on heavy, matte paper. Colors are vibrant, printing is crisp and clear. I’m really happy with how these turned out. (The dark blue border is part of the poster, not a mat or frame.)

Two sizes: large (32″ wide x 15.8″ high) and medium (24″ wide x 12″ high). The larger version is $50 and the smaller one is $45. (Prices include $5 for shipping priority mail in a tube. Order more than one poster and I’ll figure out a discount based on the shipping cost.) Every order also gets some free stickers.
